Are we living in a space opera or is it just a fictitious illusion?

Ever wondered what those far away galaxies, planets and stars include? Well, we are quite familiar with the outer galaxies. All thanks to those Hollywood fiction movies like Star Wars, The Interstellar, The Martian, and many more. Have you ever realized that our Earth must have been included in one of the space operas as shown in the movies?

Space Opera is a type of daily opera which consists of space battles, drama, romance and other thrilling adventures in the outer space. According to some critics, it is called a "science fiction space adventure". This genre of movies appeals to the younger generations and science enthusiasts. These fiction movies which show the outer galaxies seem to be unreal to some. However, these movies only show a small part of what is discovered of this universe. Many hidden mysteries could make us a part of this huge space opera!

The universe has been expanding since its creation and we don't even know how much it has expanded so far. We can't be the only creatures to be living here. There are thousands of galaxies like our Milky Way. Our solar system holds only a part of the Milky Way. Now imagine its vastness as this universe is home to many solar systems and galaxies. That means we are actually a part of a space opera. It’s just that we need more advancement to communicate with the outer universe. 

Many signals had been received by our scientists which were coded in a foreign language, maybe the alien language. According to National Geographic, unidentified radio waves were picked up this year in May. Scientists have interpreted them to be signals from a faraway galaxy. What if these signals hold messages about other planets or aliens? It would lead to the start of a space opera. The space wars, the alien invasions, the battles, and adventures of outer space would lead this human civilization to a whole new level. 

The fictitious stories that we hear or the movies we watch may have hinted us the way it all goes in the space opera. As the technology is developing, humans are advancing in making space crafts, launching missions to the outer space, sending satellites in space to search its hidden mysteries, etc. With this pace of technological advancements, we must be near to discovering life and species on other planets. The search for aliens and their traces is a matter of study and investigation. Irrespective of knowing their nature we try to find them. What if they are hostile? Space opera will take us on a journey to a space trip with adventures and threats.

What if someday we find that aliens are going to attack us? It would unite all the countries as no Avengers are going to save us! We don’t know the powerful creatures that may be living out there. The weapons or the technology they use or even the superpowers they possess. We have no idea.

Space comprises of many bigger planets and more powerful species than humans. This would lead to the survival of the strongest in the universe. It may also lead to the extinct of weaker civilizations. As we are not even an inch closer about how advanced technologies the aliens or other species must be using. Yet, we think that we are alone in this universe. There is a great threat in the outer universe which may be unknown to us. We have to be ready for this threat that can reach us anytime from the outer galaxies.
