Life is too short to be sad. People have ups and downs in their lives but there's happiness too. 

Here are a few things that can help you enhance your mood-

1. MUSIC

So the first mood enhancer is 'Music'. It is a kind of therapy which soothes our minds. Listening to music can have a profound effect on both, the mind and the body. A slow tune can calm our minds and relax our bodies. Music releases stress will keep you going with the rest of your day.


2. EATING HEALTHY

The second thing is food. Eating healthy will make you feel energetic and confident about your body. Consuming packaged food or fast food regularly results in unhealthy weight gain and health problems. So taking good care of your body will keep you in a good mood and your body will never let you down.


3. WORKING OUT REGULARLY

It is said that the consumption of healthy food is helpful only up to 70% for the body and the rest 30% is by working out. We can balance our eating habits by doing regular exercises. Every person should do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day to stay fit. Your body is at its best when you stay active. Exercise lifts a person's mood and keeps them energetic throughout the day.


4. GETTING PROPER SLEEP

The next thing is getting proper sleep which is a minimum of 8 hours. Many people suffer from sleep deprivation which increases our stress levels. Imagine not getting proper sleep due to overworking at night and being cranky the next day. It becomes impossible to focus on work. Having a good night's sleep will boost your mood. Your mind will be refreshed when you wake up the next morning. Good mornings usually lead to productive days.


5. HOBBIES

We all love spending our time doing what interests us the most. Different people have different hobbies like dancing, singing, drawing, writing, reading, watching movies, listening to songs and many more. Doing what you love is a form of self-care. Working on your hobbies also upgrades your skills.

Scientifically proven, meditation can increase your levels of feel-good hormones like endorphins and serotonin. It reduces stress and anxiety. The next thing what genuinely enhances everyone's mood is being helpful to others. It's a different feeling when you help a random stranger and show some kindness to them. We all have heard the phrase “What goes around comes around” so spread kindness, kindness will come to you. If you help them, they will take inspiration from you and try to help others.

Being yourself is the best way to lift your mood. You don't have to think about others' opinion of you. You don't need to compare yourself with others. Try to learn and unlearn from experiences.
